INGREDIENTS

8 oz Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
3 Cups All Purpose Flour
3 TBS Sugar
4 TSP Baking Powder
1.5 TSP Salt
0.5 TSP Pepper
12 oz Light-Bodied Beer (eg: Coors)
4 TBS Butter, Melted

DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Butter a 9? x 5? loaf pan. Combine cheese, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pepper in large bowl. Stir in beer and mix until well combined. Pour into loaf pan, spreading batter to corners. Drizzle melted butter evenly over top of batter. Bake 45 to 50 minutes, until bread is golden brown. Test doneness by inserting toothpick into center of loaf; if it comes out clean, bread is done. Cool bread in the pan for 5 ? 10 minutes, then turn out onto cooling rack. Let bread cool completely, then slice and enjoy.
