Recipe Ingredients & Directions

INGREDIENTS

Add all ingredients to Shopping List

1 Pie Shell
6 & 1/2 cups Apples (I like to use some Granny Smith mixed with whatever you have on hand)
1/2 cup Sugar
2 & 1/2Tbls Flour
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
dash Salt
3/4 cup Flour
1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
6 Tbls Sofened Butter
dash Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Salt

DIRECTIONS

Heat oven 375 degrees, bake piecrust for 5 minutes, remove from oven then fill. In a bowl, combine apples, sugars, flour, cinnamon, nut meg and salt. Mix, then spoon into pie crust. Mix topping, flour, sugars, cut in butter, then add a dash of cinnamon, nut meg and salt. Sprinkle topping over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 50-60 min. depending on how done you like your apples. Filling will be bubble when done.
