Recipe Ingredients & Directions

INGREDIENTS

Add all ingredients to Shopping List

1 cup All -purpose flour
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 pinches of sugar
1 pinch of salt
4 tbls oil or butter

DIRECTIONS

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together milk and eggs. Gradually add in the flour to combine all the ingredients. Add the salt and sugar, beat until smooth. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium to high heat. Use a 1/4 cup sized ladle per pancake, to scoop the batter onto the griddle. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly. Cook the pancake for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side. Place pancake on a plate. Put jam, cream cheese, chocolate or any other toppings of choice on the pancake. Fold the pancake in half then fold in half again, the pancake will be a quarter of the original size. Once you have put your topping in the pancake, place the pancake on the griddle and heat again, until golden brown. You may garnish the pancake with whipped cream, fruit, powdered sugar or any other topping you may like.
