INGREDIENTS

1 to 3 Pork Chops
1 28.5 ounce Sauerkraut
5 Small Potatoes
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1/2 cup Milk

DIRECTIONS

Pre-heat oven to 400. Lightly saute pork chops in frying pan, about 4 minutes per side. Add salt, pepper and alternative spices if your little heart desires. I recommend using Jane's Crazy Mixed Up Seasonings... it rocks. Fill a medium sized baking dish with Sauerkraut. Once your chops are lightly cooked place them in the Kraut filled baking pan and cover with Sauerkraut. Cook the Kraut and chops for 1 hour. When there is about 20 minutes left on the chops begin preparing taters. Boil water in medium sized sauce pan. Peel taters (if desired). Chop up taters into small chunks. (This helps them boil quicker) Carefully add taters to boiling water. Let them boil for about 5-10 minutes or until each chunk is tender. Strain the water out of the taters and place them back into the sauce pan. Add 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup of milk. Add less if you want your taters more firm. Mash and then whip those bad boys until fluffy. Add pepper if desired. By this time your Kraut-chops should be done and you are ready to chow. Enjoy.
