Basic Sugar Cookies with yummy chocolate icing. The kicker is the peppermints coated in beer and then topped on the cookies as orniments.

INGREDIENTS

Add all ingredients to Shopping List

2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup softned butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1 teapsoon of vanilla
1 tablesoppn cinnamon
1 container Pillsbury Chocolate Frosting
1 tablespoon of your favorite Beer
12 Peppermints

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 375▫. Sugar Cookies: 1. In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. 2. In a large bowl combine softened butter, sugar until smooth. Add egg beated and vanilla. 3. Slowly combine both dry and wet ingredients, mixing thoroughly. 4. Cover cooking surface with flour and roll out cookie dough. Flower is used to prevent sticking. 5. Use a cookie cutter to cut the desired shape. 6. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. 7. Bake for 8-12 minutes depending on the thickness of the cookies. 8. Remove when done baking and let cook for 5-10 minutes. Peppermints and Beer Topping: 1. Unwrap all peppermints and place in a small ziplock bag 2. Pour Beer into ziplock bag with peppermints. 3. Close bag and crush peppermints into small bits. 4. Let combonation sit until peppermints and beer carmalize Final Product: 1.Coat the top of each cookie with frosting 2. Make a sandwhich out of two cookies placing one on top of the other. (cookie - frosting - cookie - frosting) 3. Add the crushed peppermints to the top of the cookie. 4. Enjoy!
